Dance Tuition
Dance Tuition Policy
Enrollment in the Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet is not on a weekly or monthly basis, but on a semester basis only. Accordingly, by enrolling at the commencement of a semester it is understood that tuition for the entire semester is owed. No tuition deduction or allowance shall be made by reason of the absence, withdrawal, suspension, or dismissal of the student. Tuition is not transferable and is non-refundable unless withdrawal is due to prolonged illness or injury verified by a doctor's certificate. Missed classes can be made up in another class during the same semester in which the class was missed. First time enrollees may withdraw up to the fourth lesson for a full refund (including registration fee). After the fourth lesson, the semester tuition for first time enrollees is fully owed and non-refundable.
The school year is divided into 2 semesters with 18 weeks of dance instruction in each. Tuition shall be prorated for students who enroll after a semester has begun. For all others, tuition for the entire semester is payable in full at the beginning of each semester or financed in 4 equal installments which are paid by post dated checks held by Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet. Installment payments, if applicable, are due the first day of September, October, November, and January for the first semester, and February, March, April, and May for the second semester. There is a $20.00 charge for all returned checks. Admission to class may be denied to students with past due accounts.
Registration Fee: In addition to tuition, a $25 per family registration fee will be collected at the time of enrollment and is paid annually. This fee is non-refundable for any reason.
Discount: There is a 20% discount on any additional classes taken (excluding Zumba). For classes taken in excess of 6 per week (not including pointe) or any additional ballet class, tuition is $100 per class per semester
Family Discount: There is a 20% discount on the tuition of a second family member, and a 50% discount on the tuition of each additional family member.
